made these cakes twice this weekend. once with soy milk (ran out of regular milk) and once with regular milk. regular milk was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better. throw in some chocolate chips and im in heaven.

also im sure im in the minority here, but fake syrup > maple syrup.

I went half melted butter, half Bacon fat, and put Bacon in these Mother****in' Pancakes!




Butter on top of coarse.

BTW, my syrup is so real that it tooks 45 seconds and one of those grippy rubber things to get the cap off because of all the maple sugar granules clogging the threads. I ended up using a lot more than shown in the pics.

There are only two things I make really well, pancakes and bbq sauce.

Try using evaporated milk and include baking soda into the recipe...

These are an option at the Original Pancake House (locations I know of are in Chicago and MI) as a side to every breakfast dish. They are ridicuawesome. The sweet and savory when you throw some maple syrup on em, nom.
