It's all about you!

Following this post, my next 50 posts cannot be self referencing in any way. Every post made has to be offering advice to another poster, or simply providing information. I cannot even reference myself when giving advice. None of this "Oh, when this happened to me..." Every post has to be helpful, and about the information or the poster.

Self referential posts are not bad for the forum, in fact we get some of our greatest threads from ridiculously self absorbed people doing insane things, or just some of our regulars producing great trip reports. But more people being willing to support other posts and help provide additional information can't be a bad thing, and also gives us a chance to talk to and refer to some of the people who have claimed that when they do post in OOT, they're just ignored. To that end, one of the things I'm going to be looking for people I don't recognize making good posts and respond to them.

Anyone willing to join me in trying this out?

If everyone did this we'd end up with no content.

Agreed, and posting content is good. But the odds of many people doing this is pretty slim. This is just somewhat of an experiment to try to encourage more sporadic posters to get positive feedback.

Ok, here's the deal

The MP3 version I downloaded has a totally different start from the youtube version. The youtube one starts immediately with the beat. The MP3 one starts with the other background beat (the drums)

That post is how euro and I found out about the whole grilled onions. That item alone is a game-changer.

NYCers, there's a groupon today for Fresh & Fast burgers which is supposed to be a replica of In & Out. Have not tried it nor in and out so I dunno if it's true.
