That's $1 a meal. What exactly are you planning on buying for your meals? An apple?

Grocery stores are not magical places where all food is 10% the cost of eating out.

I only buy the MOST BASIC items, like eggs, whole wheat bread, veggie, oatmeals, apples etc.

It's a very spartan like diet but it's doable.
