one of my friends on fb posted a wsj article about hairdressers. The article was about how hairdressers have great job security in this recession for some obvious reasons. This girl is a hairdresser and posted this article with the comment "omgzz i made the right career choice!"
Now why would she need the wsj to tell her this. she's been doing this for 10 years and hasnt figured out by now the job security that her profession can provide. combination of idiotic, narcissistic, and a annoying imo.

Otherwise normal friend on facebook notes that next weekend is a good time for volleyball. She's doesn't have a net (there' a few places in town where they have a court and the posts, but you have to supply your own net because if the city left them up they'd just become hobo hammocks), but she does have a ball!

Who the **** is that person sitting at home with a volleyball net, looking for a game, only for want of a ball?

Regulations on this vary from place to place, and are pretty bizarre in some jurisdictions (Eg, New York, where parental permission is required for tattoos but not abortions)
