I especially like the quote, how it changes from him to her talking. And the fact that there is no description of the evil man for her friends to look out for, no follow up to what happened next--like reporting it to the police, no more mention of this witness who was watching (sent by Jesus)...there are cops commenting on the post saying this is why people should have cc permits. This delusional woman and the people who believe this **** are among the last people I want carrying a gun around my family in public.

Save me Jesus.

Yea it sucks but the people posting stuff like that are never actually the good mothers. It's some **** mother who at best does the bare minimum that want's her stupid ****ing friends to tell her how great she is for shooting out a kid like almost every other woman who has ever walked the face of the earth has done.

The actual good mothers aren't attention whores who get off on people telling how great they are for giving birth.

I can imagine it can. I'm a teacher so there is an understanding of the exhaustion raising kids can be.

But that doesn't give cause to root your horn like you're someone with special strength or commendably. You're literally doing the very thing your body was designed to do. That child will not stay inside forever. You cannot choose to not deliver (barring chemicals, miscarriage, or an abortion). Real parents understand this.

I can handle the "Uhhhg! Kids! Amirite?" venting cuz we all need that sometimes but boasting about how strong you are b/c you fulfilled your evolutionary obligation to your species is nut low for me.

It's incredible, exhausting, and painful. It's a life-tranforming event. Evolution equipped me to run long distances and stuff but i'm still proud when i complete a marathon.

Might want to work on being less bitter? People are proud of themselves for accomplishing something difficult and important? Nine months of pregnancy and giving birth certainly qualifies.

How many hours did you train to do that and did you have an option to not do the training/race. If you tried to opt out of the race, would your body do it for you?

Pregnancy requires zero training. It cannot be opted out (generally) and that child is coming out even if you don't want to "run the race".

Strongly agree with the correlation between poor/average parents posting more on Facebook about how tough parenting is, but lol at the whole pregnancy is easy because you were born to do it thing.

Our bodies are evolved to heal from flesh wounds. Takes no training and you can't opt out from a wound healing itself, it's a natural process. Its our evolutionary obligation to our species to survive. Thus, being stabbed in the thigh is easy and nobody should give a **** if it hurts.

no see that's the thing.

i've seen these types of posts a bunch of times. they're always from the women who don't discipline their kids, feed them ****, plop them in front of the tv all day and think good parenting is putting their kids in matching outfits for their friends to comment on facebook. and yet the really amazing mothers I know NEVER make posts like this.

these posts are 100 pct made so a bunch of attention whore lazy mothers can have a giant circle jerk and tell each other how wonderful they are.

and it's not only women. i've seen the same thing with ****ty and in some cases absentee fathers. they'll see their kid every few months, not pay child support but make sure the facebook world sees them with their kid the rare time they do see them. the actual good parents are busy actually being good parents and are good parents because that's the right thing to do and not to get praise on the internet.

Having a baby is tough on the body and is a difficult process - fact.

Having a baby is something we are programmed to do and will continue do regardless of difficulty - fact.

There are some great mothers who don't say anything about it publicly - fact.

There are some terrible mothers who search for constant validation on Facebook from others - fact.

Borg23 hates bad mothers, attention whores and bad mothers who are attention whores in an attempt to feel like something other than a **** who spat out a child who is now ruining said child because she sucks. Nothing anyone says or feels about this will make him feel differently about those people.

Can we move on now?

I'm basically with Duco on this one...I think my only objection is to the word "strength" in the image, implying that a baby would not be delivered without the woman having some unusual physical talent and/or character trait. While I know that childbirth is a ****ing ordeal and I don't envy anyone that's gone through it, the thing is eventually gonna come out regardless of what superhuman abilities you possess or don't possess.

It's sort of funny to me that strength or ability would ever be considered super-human or not in regard to an act that by its very nature and definition is in fact, human!

I'm on the neonatal resuscitation team so i'm present for a lot of births. They're nuts. Just the deformation of the body is a shocking sight. I'm gonna say that the strain of the pushing in a difficult labor is more exhausting than anything in the Olympics. They basically don't get to rest at all because the baby will slide backwards if they do. It's seriously an incredible human feat that requires the recruitment of all the body's hormones and neuropeptides to accomplish.

The strain of growing and birthing a baby is so great that women's bodies have to be built in a way that they're terrible at basically every physical task compared to men. But when that hidden programming gets activated it is a ****ing scene dude.

Thats all true, but until recently, child birth was going to happen whether the pregnant woman wanted it or not. Being difficult or not didnt really make it an "accomplishment". It was going to happen. it was inevitable. Maybe surviving child birth was the accomplishment?
I think the point was that while difficult, and also life changing, its really not anything special since its been done literally billions and billions of times before. Everyone knows its a difficult and painful process. The women who post that stuff are just attention whores.
