I will say though that the Dad was probably the biggest overachiever in our school. He's an actuary now. If anyone's kid would have perfect penmanship - it would probably be him.

Yeah obviously, and I say that as an actuary with a four year old!

It looks likes something the teacher discusses with the kid and fills in as they go. Kind of cute for the parents to see it, so he posted it.

Not sure about the US but in the UK kids learn writing by using joined up letters that are not actually joined up, if you see what I mean. The letters have the joining bits, so kids writing looks a mess even when they are older than 4. At least that's what the school my kids go to does.

JFC these are super common pre-school kindergarten activities. The kid dictates the answers to the teacher. I mean I get that most of you troglodytes won't ever have kids of your own (and society is thankful for your chastity) but there are like literally ten million of these posted to Facebook every day.
