Some idiot 21 year old from the UK went to Thailand and her idiot helicopter parents freaked out when they didn't hear from her for
all of five whole days. They contacted the UK police, got Interpol involved, and then started spamming Facebook like crazy. They last heard from her on February 16, and reported her as a missing person on February 21. On February 22, the idiot child contacted her parents. The Thai police also found her and she told them she didn't need any help. Her parents bought her a plane ticket home, which she didn't get on. The Thai police said when they found her
she was disoriented and hallucinating and refused to talk with them,
just repeatedly blowing a whistle:
Quote:
Col Thaksin Pochakorn said Grace had been detained after appearing 'mentally unstable'.
He said: "There’s nothing serious. We found her. She was sitting alone in the airport, blowing a whistle."
She flew back to the UK on February 24.
So it's all over and done with, right?
Today, on March 3, someone posted the original Facebook panic message from the parents, asking for help locating her. Yes, just over a week after she had already returned to the UK safe and sound. This post was in a global sailing group. When asked why they posted it considering the girl had already been found and returned a week earlier, and that it had absolutely nothing to do with sailing anyway, the poster replied that "sailors are travelers" and "I would want help if it were my daughter"
