She sounds like a bitch but I get this one. My best friend is getting bled by his POS ex-wife for almost $60k a year in support now and she still plays the "single mom" card pretty hard too. She works 2-3 shifts a week doing hair & nails, doesn't cook and the daughter does all the cleaning. And then she tells daughter to call Dad for school clothes too.
The upside is she's a great kid and nothing like the Mom and she'll be off to a good college next year. Very mature and independent, absolutely crushing high school. Of course Mom takes credit but she struggles with basic math and can't balance a check book. Looking forward to seeing how she makes out once the free ride finally ends.
For a true single Mom with no real help I could understand a little venting on FB.
