best i can tell, we need 26 volunteers to each be assigned 10 pages of the thread (doubling up to account for taste) and each choose 5 all-star statuses.

assuming there will be overlap, that should leave us with about 100 statuses to pick from. do a giant poll where people can each vote for 10 and then take the top 16 from there, then go bracket style.

it shouldnt be that much work to comb through 10 pages really, since so many posts are comments and not actual statuses
