This is pretty much how I feel about the subject.
All of my recent encounters with authorities have been in situations where they have a right to question and conduct searches - mainly airports, international borders, boating and while fishing or hunting. All have been relatively pleasant. If I had given grief they would almost certainly have caused greater than necessary inconvenience at a minimum and potentially detention.
I understand and wholeheartedly agree with not volunteering information when it is clear that a felony has been committed, you are in an extended stop, and especially having been mirandized. I fail to see the harm in cooperating in routine matters.
I am also not an ethnic teenager in a high crime area.
