30 has a decent track record of making parodies of movies/tv series before they are even out.

i saw both of these movies, both are nothing special but cop out is actually funnier than i thought it would be.

For anybody that's watched the Evening with Kevin Smith Q &As, I'm pretty sure Cop Out is the result of Bruce Willis wanting to work with Kevin Smith after he cameoed and did some rewrite work on Live Free or Die Hard. Silent bob more or less came out and said he had no idea what he could write for Bruce willis so I'm guessing he found the first reasonable buddy cop movie script floating around hollywood and went from there.

it was really bad and the only good parts were in the trailers.

i'm a kevin smith fan boy, but i feel so ripped off after seeing Cop Out. I checked KS's IMDB and realize he has been on a steady decline beginning with Jay and Silent Bob Strike back, each movie just a little worse than the last.
