Masters Championship Hunchcap Pool 2018: Year of the Tiger

Select one golfer from each of the following tiers and list them all in an individual post, along with a prediction for the winning score to be used as a tiebreaker. Odds are for reference purposes only and have no bearing on the outcome (odds current as of 3/26 from sportsbook.ag) Entrants are responsible for being aware of withdrawals and changes can be made until the first golfer hits the first tee (must be in the form of a clearly labeled new post with your updated complete list).

Any golfer who misses the cut will be scored with the highest carded round from the 3rd and 4th round. For example, if you pick Henrik Stenson and he misses the cut, for round 3 he will receive the highest score in the clubhouse for that day's round. The same applies to round 4.

Mid tournament DQ's and WD's will be scored with any finished rounds standing and any remaining rounds treated the same as a MC. Withdrawals before the tournament if not replaced before first tee 4/5 will be scored as zero.

At the end of the tournament, each entrant’s lowest 5/6 scores will be added together with the lowest score winning. 2nd or 3rd payouts tbd based on number of entrants. Buyin will be 50?? with anyone unknown requiring a vouch or escrow.

You are the 7th entry so I'd say we're good to go and we'll get more as the tournament gets closer. You can post picks whenever and change them up until the tournament starts. I'm assuming $50 buyin is cool with you guys? We'll decide payouts once we know the size of the field. No need to escrow but you can send to me if you want to.

Samuri,

I think instead of “one from each tier” you should go “one from each tier or lower” so a true golf huncher could opt to pick two from group three instead of one from group two and one from group three. Prob won’t get used, but it would be badass for someone to win doing that.

Would certainly be interesting if each tier had a different price and you could pick however you wanted, then all entries play for the same total prize pool.

Works for me. $25 bonus for picking winner from tier two or below, 85%/15% 1st and 2nd payouts sound good? If we get enough people we'll add third. I'm going to add Diablo's idea too if no one objects, I like it.
