I just started watching Breaking Bad, so I decided to look at the wikipedia article on meth and came across this.

Honestly, I've long thought that a lot of his behavior is that of someone who had a severe speed problem.

I think the same thing about Ann Coulter.

Common Knowledge. It was pure Amphetamine iirc though. The entire Nazi army was supplied with speed to travel and fight for days on end.

I watched some documentary on Hitler's physician that said he was a huge quack and gave Hitler all kinds of freaky ****. Crank seemed pretty normal comparatively.

if he was getting iv injections it was pure, whatever kind of speed it was. there are many types of amphetamines. Meth is one (short for Methamphetamine) MDMA is considered an amphetamine. As well as Aderall. There is a huge range of drugs and a lot of different names for them. I believe that the nazi's were specifically experimenting with methamphetamine because of it's powerful effects and the long lasting duration of the drug. they hoped to create a "super soldier" using the drug. To this day, navy pilots carry go pills with them (a type of amphetamine) to pop in extreme situations.

Many things have been alleged about the guy since people will watch/read anything about him. That said, I think the uppers allegation does make some sense. Who else would trust that idiot goering besides a drug addict?
