When you go out for a night or weekend or extended trip with the guys, how do you handle girls during these times?

Preface: I'm married, two kids, and have no intentions of cheating on my wife and getting divorced.

Last weekend, I went on a trip with the guys. We stayed drunk pretty much the whole time. Every time we went out for lunch and dinner, there seemed to be decent looking chicks available, and we couldn't help but notice them. Now, between the 12 to 15 of us, I was one of the only ones who would go out and chat them up and try to bring them back to our table. I had no intentions of hooking up with them, but I did want to bring them back to the 3 or 4 single guys we had, and I also wanted to know if I still had it.

My early advances, however, had a couple of the girls sidling up to me at the table, and I was in an awkward position. I'm drunk, they're pretty decent looking and leaning in on me. Looking back, it was a pretty bad idea. But when I'm drunk, it seemed like a fantastic idea. I'm not worried though, because whiskey dick keeps me safe.

I'm about 100% better with women as a married person, I'm sure that's because there's no "goal" to talking to them. So I flirt pretty egregiously, but it's never remotely an issue whether anything would happen, I'm very open that I'm not on the market.

That was me too. I didn't take off my wedding band or anything.

It was amazing that, even though there were single guys there who were younger and probably better catches than me for the girls, I could've caught five to their one.

Maybe they thought I was wearing The One Ring.

WTF, you do realise in 40 or 50 years time you're going to be sitting in a wheelchair trying to remember good stuff, the memories of bringing girls over to your table to talk to your single friends that you maybe could have banged won't be anywhere near as good as the ones of one night only wild sex when you were "the man".

I seriously can't believe men who go on away trips with their friends and claim they could have scored but didn't because they have a G/F/Wife.

The fact that you at least appear harmless makes the women more relaxed as well. Whether that relaxation and lack of inhibition would continue once you were alone in a hotel room I do not know, but in the bar or on the dancefloor it makes you an easy person to flirt with.

I voted because I don't want to have to keep clinking "see poll results." When I am out with girlfriends I generally don't want to talk to guys at all because they are usually gross and skeezy but sometimes flirting with waiters and bartenders is fun.

I agree. Guys ARE usually gross and sleazy. That's why I prefer chicks.

When I was attached, I did not partake.
When I was single, I did.

A or B. I'll generally try to entertain a girl but not in any way that could be construed as coming on to them. I suppose it depends on the friends I am with. I am certainly not cockblocking, nor would I ever do anything that my wife would frown upon.

If my buddies bring girls over I'll help them out, make them look good, distract the uggo (without hooking up with her), etc. However, I don't go out of my way to bring girls to the group.

This sweeping generalization is only true for some men. There are attached men who have plenty of options that remain faithful. Believe it or not, some men get to a point in their lives when just knowing that a woman is intrigued is sufficient.

On the other hand there are plenty of men who will avail themselves to women outside of their relationship whenever the opportunity presents itself.

This may hold true for some but personally I've tapped a lot of ass prior to meeting the one I'm with and have absolutely no desire to cheat on her. Sure the thrill of the hunt is part of the game but when you find one worth keeping the hunt for new ones just isn't thrilling anymore.

That being said, if I have an opportunity to use my game to hook a friend up I will definately put on the wingman hat and get it done.

Definitely this. I wouldn't actively go and try to reel in a gaggle of girls for my buddies who are too chicken to go talk to them themselves as in OP. Why would I bother with that for my hopeless friends when they may still be too shy to close the deal? I'll just sit and drink my beer, and maybe make fun of my buddies for lacking sufficient cajones. But if one of them took some initiative, I'd help him out. Also, if one of the girls happened to come on to me, I'd try and graciously pass her off.

I think my girlfriend of 5 years actually enjoys me flirting with other women when I go out. She is very secure in the fact that i would not cheat on her. I also am not bothered by her going out with the girls and flirting/dancing/ etc with another guy.
