Is there only one room that is in play here? Might we stick the pool table in the living room/to the man, while also putting a couch/coffee table in another area?

This doesn't seem like a question that a grown ass man would need to pose. If you want a game room, do the pool table, add darts and bring in a couple of vintage arcade games. Go baller and get shuffleboard, too.

Otherwise, just do the couch and table with a bad ass TV- maybe one of those small bars for good measure- and invite some couple-friends over while insisting they bring along some of their lady friends.

Would also help if you had a hot tub and a bedroom deck.

I'd go for a rug, possibly a bearskin one that you've hunted, killed and skinned yourself.

Coffee tables are only good for banging your shin on during power cuts. Pool tables in your home stop being cool as soon as you become sexually active.
