also, i initially nominated Scar in jest, but now that I think about it he definitely deserves to be among the top villains. I mean how classic/somber is that scene where he rips his claws out of Mufasa's paws and sends his own brother plummeting to his death? Then goes on to pin the whole thing on his young nephew, true villainy iyam.

Well its quite simple, really. The contest is for greatest movie villains. If it was for greatest movie characters, then Bill The Butcher would def. get a vote from me. I could probably argue that Bill was the hero in GONY and not the villain at all imo.
