Not really graffiti but I did buy one item of a well known graffiti artist about ten years ago.

Mr. Brainwash

Agreed, I have a throw pillow in my office with that bottom grey one on it. People comment on it frequently.

While I'm not really a Bansky fan if you want to have your mind blown... brother, next time you are out here, go to the Primm Outlet mall at the california/nevada boarder. it's friggen magnificent and there is nobody to obscure you're viewing pleasure. (click to see detail)

so many of these are completely 'master works'... I spent hours in there and was totally blown away. while some of it is permanent installation, I would love to be able to purchase a piece for my home.

No those where murals from the greatest movie ever but had some graffiti on them.

Show us what you consider a graffiti, you know maybe try contributing.

Op mentioned Mr Brainwashed,

What's your guy's views on Exit Through The Giftshop?
The old street art archive seems legit from Space Invader/Obey, but is the Mr Brainwashed artist persona a complete fabrication put on by Banksy?

I thought graffiti was just words, although I don't know where I got that idea, because apparently it isn't true. I think some artists like to play around with the distinction, however.

Graffiti by definition is illegal so let's start there. Think New York City subway trains in the 80s here is a site that has many

Yeah, it's pretty clear from the film that Mr. Brainwash is entirely Banksy's creation. He's riffing on the ridiculousness of the high art world, as Banksy often does.
