Anyone watching Season 2 of Celebrity Re-hab w/ Dr. Drew? Busey is absolutely out of his mind...the entertainment value is +EV.

I don't watch the show, but get updates about it from the Stern show. So he joined the cast, and refuses to act like he is in rehab, instead acting as if he is a counselor type?

yeah, he is insane, possibly from brain damage from a motorcycle accident in 1988. He claims to be sober for 13 years, so he's not in "rehab" but clearly has as many/if not more issues than the others. He keeps saying things like "oh, so you want me to help tell them about sobriety" and dr. drew is like "yeaaaah, thats it"

that dude from guns n' roses is really sad. basically hasn't been sober since he was eleven and his mom's boyfriend told her "him or me" and she chose the boyfriend over her 11 yr old son.

I love Dr. Drew so I watch this show. My fav. Gary Busey moments are when he creates random sobriety-related, life-affirming acronyms.

He's just going to spin right off the planet...

i've only seen bits and clips of this show, what is busey actually diagnosed with? he's in rehab so he has some sort of substance abuse disorder but a lot of mental illness are comorbid with drug use

Not necessarily Gary Busey related, but Shasta McNasty was the nuts.

This show (and the first season) is one of my favorite shows. It's truly amazing. I'm not sure yet though if Busey on the show makes it better or worse. At first I was like "Oh no, not Busey." But then after seeing him trying to get Kenicki off the phone last night I think he may be Gold.

I didn't realize Rodney King was only 26 when he got beaten. I always thought he was like a 40 year old man. He's really messed up though. Gotta wonder just how much of it is due to just being Rodney King.

Steven Adler is, as Drew said, like a stunted 11-year old kid. Pretty sad. GNR is releasing an epic album on November 23rd, and Steven Adler can't get hired anywhere.

I think Busey was on Celebrity Weight Loss Challenge. Whatever it was I saw him on before, he was clearly out of his ****ing mind.

You guys must be talking about Steven Adler as well. If he's on this show, I'm going to watch.

absolutely. The guy just rules. i don't know how you could count on him to be the center of a show though. He appears to be so off the wall that he'd be on the wrong continent at least once a week when you needed him.
