Feels like that's been an internet thing forever. Before neckbeards were called neckbeards, we had "pointy elbows."

Ah, you appear to be right.

So what's with the "bastard" poll option? Is there something that secretly makes it funny?

I once said the pointy elbow thing to my grandfather thinking I was being clever.

He looked at me with disdain and replied "It's knees, you don't want their knees to be pointy because they dig into your ribs."

I believe that originated from the famous pole

Elisabeth Moss is meh, IMO, but I think if you knew someone IRL who looked exactly like Elisabeth Moss, was in local theater for a couple years in college and went on to be a dental hygienist, you would of course think she was attractive. Just that whole celeb double standard

a massive chin is the biggest turn off for me in women's features so I'd go with unattractive

https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/5...ariance/a-265/

also includes this gem:

"I SWAEAR TO UFCKING ELECTRICAL JESUS I AM NEVER EVER PLAYING THIS ****ING sTUPID GAME AGAIN AS LONG AS I LIVE
I

I HATE YOU NO LIMIT AND I HOPE YOUR HOUSE CATCHES FIRE WHILE YOU ARE ASLEEP"

at least I think this is the genesis of the bastard option

Elisabeth Moss is a handsome woman, as they say. As well as a pretty hardcore scientologist eww.

See, I don't think that. I think she's an IRL 5-6. Something witchy/haggy about her features.

I'm not a picky internet pointy elbow guy either. Mireille Enos might be the only less attractive leading lady. Can't believe they had her play Brad Pitt's wife.

I watched Invisible Man last night and really struggled with it. I guess I can deal with the lead actress being not gorgeous, but I kept getting the sense that she was supposed to be hot in the movie. Thought I'd see what's what.

Mireille >>> Elisabeth ainec

Mad Men struck the right balance with her, she had occasional scenes where she was clearly good-looking, but she was constantly self-conscious about her looks and would seek reassurance about it. But she was also presented as legitimately semi-attractive. And of course she was more attractive on that show because she was ****ing awesome on it.

Sticky updated. Thinking instant containment until sig is gone. Feel free to rat in containment thread.

Yes, awesome in Mad Men. Truly sorry to hear about the scientology though.

Did anyone wake Greenday? Asking for a friend

For those less educated than Killa and I.

On a related note, I saw the American Idiot musical in Baltimore awhile ago and would highly recommend it for anyone that is into either musicals or Green Day.

Anyone here have tinnitus? If so, do you do anything to mitigate the effect?

I have it. Its not extreme, and I don't really notice it unless I'm thinking about it.

So thanks! Lol, Jk.

I have it. I haven't tried a whole lot. What I have tried has had no effect whatsoever. Music in the background drowns it out. The worst was when it was making it hard to get to sleep. I'm so used to it now that I don't even really notice it unless. I used an ocean wave/white noise app to get to sleep for a pretty good while though. Of course now that you've mentioned it and I'm thinking about it, it's kicked up a notch and is pretty loud. Time to turn the TV on, lol.

Edit: I'm pretty sure I got it from not wearing ear protection at a couple of Indy Car races and NASCAR races. I don't even LIKE ****ing car races. The tix were free and I liked to party, lol.

Edit2: Or maybe too many damned concerts
