didn't reply until now, it's great news obviously.

i think everyone is jumping to conclusions re : the cast. obviously some people will be leaving but no one has been confirmed yet. i imagine matt and julie will still be on the show. i want riggins to stay more than anyone. on the simmons podcast berg said he'd definitely try and get him to stay, but he's becoming a big movie star now, so who knows. i foresee my enjoyment going down massively if he is not around.

It's going to be weird if we suddenly have a pretty much all new cast of kids. I guess Landry will still be there, as I think he is supposed to be a year or two younger than Saracen. Best moment of the last episode was Landry actually helping make a play, and I have *hated* up until now that they had to have him on the football team.

Super happy that Minka Kelly is gone, her character is up there with Gretchen Mol's gf in Rounders for all time annoying TV character for me. She's good at being pretty hawt, really not in the same league for acting-chops with everyone else. Mama-Smash for example gets 1/30th of the scenes and steals every-single-one.

Also, mega pumped for a new cast to root for, etc. I can imagine this being THE show that you'd want to jump on if you're a relatively unknown talent.

Saracen staying home kinda surprised me a little bit. I was expecting him to finally get out and on with life. He is such an amazing character.

I'm having a hard time getting excited for the football part of next season now... we'll have the Panther's cast-offs (because of the gerrymandering of the district line) against JD and the Panthers... how is that going to be even remotely competitive? My HS split my senior year and the new school sucked at football for 3-4 years...

It's going to be like starting the show over again, not that it's a bad thing -- I think Coach T and the Aikman/McCoys are strong enough to carry it with Julie/Landry/Matt as support... though Matt is ******ed, at least he's the most believable of the HS guys at this point.

I was also surprised at Saracen staying and taking his grandma out of her home but it's pretty in character for him. I wonder if they are going to pull a street and have him working with the team. The transfer to East Dillion makes sense. They kind of burnt out the actual football storyline after having them win state the first season. Next year should be about a much smaller victory in the sense of football, but much larger personally for Coach Taylor; beating his old team. I wonder if Tammy is going to step down as Principal for West Dillion.

My guess is they do the Unnecessary Roughness storyline where East Dillion sucks all year and then beats JD led West who is #1 in the state LDO last game of the season.

I hope JD either gets injured (in the E. Dillion/Dillon game) or Coach T figures out how to mind-eff him off the field so he plays like he did at State.

Also Wade Aikman needs to get his crap fed to him... They've done a good job with the bad guys...

Just wanted to pop in and say how bad ass this show is.

Watched this season on Direct TV awhile back and was ecstatic to hear they are picking it up despite less than stellar ratings. It is one of the few justices I have ever witnessed on network TV.

So I started rewatchign s1 tonight.. amazing how detailed they are with everything. They are talking about Saracen's art in very early episodes. The Riggins/Lyla situation.. and some others I can't remember.

They did everything great from jumpstreet.
