Large plants and animals used to exist on the earth. All of our mythology is centered around this. You accept dinosaurs and long fossilization but don't believe in mythology + sudden hardening. We've already been over what a fraud dinosaurs.

There are likely 1x10^24 stars or more in the universe. Some of those have a number of planets. Of those, a % has the odds of being in the right zone for life. I think the odds of an intelligent life are pretty slim but the # of possible planets due to the immense size and number of stars makes it definitely probable that not only that we exist but that there is other life in the universe (not sure if it's intelligent but odds are there are some). Similarly, there could be intelligent life or likely intelligent life on different timelines than earth so some intelligent life may existed billions or years ago and likewise, there could be intelligent life that emerges billions or more years from now.

So all these animals and giants turned to stone, but there are only a few of them that are visible, and they all just somewhat resemble animals (for example, the "elephant" that just has a base instead of 4 legs), or they are just the leftover giant cock sticking out of the ground.
