When I was 11 my family went on a cruise to Mexico. In Mazatlan, we went to Señor Frogs and I just had a Coke because I didn't want to risk getting sick from the food. Apparently they thought it would be funny to spike a kid's drink and I ended up getting quite drunk. I didn't really notice any off taste so I don't know what they put in it.

Wine with parents (LDO).

First super drunk was with vodka straight from bottle (ughhh) eventually mixed with beer and other liquors. Puked for the next 24 hours

I think my dad foisted some BEER brand beer (which most of y'all are too young to remember) on us as kids- like sub 10ish.

The first one I more willingly and awarely drank was a wine cooler.

The first time I got drunk it was a 40 of Old E.

Seventeen in London had some amaretto after dinner before moving on to orange soda and rum in the hotel. With friends on school trip obviously.

Edit: Damn delicious stuff.

First alchohol was some sips of beer when I was 4-5 years old. Loved the stuff, now I can't stand beer. (FTR I think it was Hamm's, do they still make that stuff?)

First drunk was when I was 16 on a pint of M-D 20/20 aka Mad Dog wine

Absolut Vodka Screwdriver.

BTW, A constant debate between me and the wife, Is a Screwdriver a "girly" drink?

My parents don't drink, so they had a near full 24 pack of Milwaukee's Best sitting in the basement from company. One day curiousity got the best of me- took one sip, spit it out, cursed the heavens, and dumped the remaining cans for the bottle return.

Scotch, my Dad's, too young to remember. Swore I'd never drink it intentionally. Wrong.

First recreational: Jameson's, sixth grade behind Dave Connors's house.

Depends on the time of day imo

Yes. Anything with juice is a girl drink unless you are on the beach. Anything with milk, cream, or mint is always a girl drink. Anything with any other mix is for young guys who are new to drinking.

Parents let me have wine with dinner occasionally when I was younger; other than that, Corona at a friend's party when I was 16 or 17. Got pretty buzzed off 2 of them.

Yes. Screwdrivers are like bloody marys; they're meant to be drunk before noon. If you order a screwdriver at night, you're not so much a chick as someone who doesn't know when to order what.

No. Extra fail points for implying that a white russian is a girly drink.

Yeah, the first sip of alcohol I had was definitely my dad giving me a sip of his at a young age after I asked if I could have some. Oldest trick in the book, it tasted gross and I didn't touch booze til I was a sophomore in college.

Also, disappointed there is no pole in this thread.

Are you suggesting that a mint julep is a girl drink?

It was too long ago for me to remember. However, I did recently get to experience my kid's first time. At a wedding in Key West he asked to try a sip of mom's pineapple and vodka. The next thing I knew, the glass was 2/3 empty and sitting in front of him. His far-off stare said it all.

I don't really remember mine. I was given a lot of wine and tastes of liquor when I was a kid.

A memorable first is my first time getting drunk in school = A snapple bottle full of Pear William in 9th grade.

Henry is a Canadian and doesn't understand the wonders of the tropics, such as mojitos and margaritas. If a margarita is girly, I don't want to be a man.

The manl/girly drink distinction is pretty pointless IMO.
