yep. i'm following this setup for the same reasons. it's a good fit

going to get 3 different kinds of juice from vapor kings as well. i want to get everything from 1 site so they deliver everything all together.

i dont know what this is. i've tried finding something on vapor kings that fits this description but i can't

also, i'm not sure if i need the extra atomizer heads
Yea I meant 650. I prefer them in public cuz they're not too long and less susceptible to damage being in your pocket.

Never tried VaporKings liquid but it seems expensive @ 70c/ml. Doesn't appear to be much variety either.

Here's the link for the aluminum tanks. You'll need them if you use strong flavored juices such as any citrus, root beer, cinnamon, etc.

The extra atomizer heads/coils are nice to have around. They break down more often than the actual atomizer.

Derek,

Looks like you should be all set with your list. You might want to get one of the 650 mah Twists because it's probable an inch or so shorter and easier to take in public if that matters to you. I'm not familiar with the Vivi Novas but you might want to add one of these for aesthetics: http://www.vaporkings.com/Small-DCT-...over-small.htm

Also, remember some people vape up to 5mls of juice/day so stock up accordingly. While most people want something to replicate the cigarette taste when they start vaping you might quickly decide you don't want an ashy tobacco taste once you regain your sense of taste and smell (takes a week or less). Try some fruit and dessert flavors also. Fwiw, I exclusively vape fruit flavors now.

Also, I think what Squash was talking about regarding "stronger juices" was that some juices can damage plastic tanks (cinammin comes to mind). I'm not sure about the Vivi Novas but with some tanks the heads only last for a week or so before tasting burnt or starting to clog. You might want to order 5 or 10 replacement heads also. You can prolong the life of the heads once they start to underperform by using the dry burn method. Youtube that

I'd probably purchase 1 more charger to keep in your car or take with you if you might be gone 24hrs+.

Looks good though. IMO juice is nearly as important as your setup. 50ml from mtbakervapor is just $12 and should last you around a month minimum. Also more customizable. Ectocooler, Thug Juice (fruity menthol), Hawk Sauce, Moo Juice, are ones I've really liked. 50/50 vg/pg to 65/35. Using vaporfrombaker 10% discount code essentially gives you free priority shipping. (3-4 day)

Derek,

New list looks good. If you're gonna get your juice from another site try Avejuice that you mentioned. That was my #1 juice site from the past. Their Boba's Bounty is great. I loved their Hype also. I really haven't had many bad juices from them. I always liked their C&D for a cigarette style vape, that was my go to when I got off gigs. Their Gorilla Juice I also liked

Any recommendations for a menthol that tastes like menthol cigs? All the ones I've tried so far, taste like spearmint toothpaste :s

Awesome man! Hope it works out for you. I actually bought my 1st ecig (just a stupid 510 super basic kit) just to have a new gadget to mess around with, I never intended to quit smoking. 4 years later I haven't smoked except for a few cigs (probably less than 10) along the way and I feel awesome. Embrace your new hobby, I hope it works out for you.

Thankfully, no eliquid tastes like cigarettes.

you can probably find several clone attempts by various vendors, like kools, salem, newport etc., although many will have slightly altered names or synonyms.

Feel free to mix different eliquids. a menthol cig tasting vape has 2 flavor elements; menthol and tobacco. unless there is a particular brand you want and can find, i suggest getting a 30ml of plain menthol eliquid and several sample size tobacco flavors, then mix them to taste. you can easily transfer to an empty or partly filled eliquid bottle if you pull the nipple off the bottle you want it to go in.

Backwoods Brew has a menthol that's excellent. There's also one called Orchard Frost that has a fruity tobacco taste with a bit of menthol and cinnamon in it. Over two years later I haven't found anything I like more than BWB for juice.

UK Residents.

How long did it take for your items to arrive from Fasttech? From expected delivery date, to arrival.

TIA

They have a bunch of stores all over SD county. The one I used to go to is in Mission Valley, and I think that's their main store. I was also at their Oceanside branch a few weeks after it opened.

Every retail vape shop I've been to has a sort of head shop vibe, and Vapure is no exception. If you like menthol, pick up a bottle of their strawberry mango freeze. It's fantastic.

Hi all,

Cool thread

I'm also an e-cig aficionado. I'm doing some market research and would be very grateful if any of you could take a moment and answer a few questions:

-What % of your e-cig product purchases do you make online vs in person?
-What site(s) do you use to buy e-cig products online?
-What do you think the site(s) you use do well? What do they do poorly?
-Is there anything that currently sucks about buying e-cig products online that you'd like somebody to fix? What is it? Have any ideas for a solution?

And the million dollar question:

-Do you think there is room for a new site to enter the market and gain significant marketshare if they do a better job than the current sites? Or do you think the market is already pretty well served? (example of well served market: search engines. poorly served market: smart TV's).

If you read this far you probably have a decent idea of what I'd like to do, so any additional thoughts, advice or feedback would be great.

Thanks in advance!

Clearo. Fund a study that FDA will acknowledge and then put effort into regulated liquids.

If that wasn't obvious to you. Then your obvious just here to hop on the bandwagon and make a quick buck.

Hey again

I didn't expect to get such a negative response. Sorry if I've offended you guys. In my experience the e-cig community has always been very welcoming of outsiders and newcomers (I'm a regular on ECF by the way - they just don't allow questions or topics like this because of all of the advertisers. They would call this 'pre-advertising' and delete it).

Wish I could afford that!

If my site gained significant marketshare and had revenues to support endeavors like that, it would probably be good for marketing, PR and the business itself to do something like that - but I think planning that sort of thing now would be a pretty extreme example of 'putting the cart before the horse'.

As much as Jeff Bezos was trying to 'make a quick buck' when he founded Amazon, that's what I'm trying to do. I don't know if I'd frame it that way though. Amazon turned out to be a pretty good thing for consumers as well as Bezos.

I also don't know that I agree with criticizing newcomers for 'hopping on the bandwagon'. We should welcome new vapers and entrepreneurs into the e-cig community with open arms. If we want wider acceptance and people like the FDA to take notice - the more people, brains and resources that can be put to work, the better!

ECF has threads clearly designated vendor threads. if you read one of those threads you might expect to read posts motivated by blantant pecuniary self interest. like the majority of ecf members, the vapers on this thread love vaping and want to share a really good experience being smoke free. so if you want to get started on ecigs, want improve your vaping experience or share your experience then you should find us very welcoming.

Well said Indy. Also, go screw to anyone whoring this thread.

Thanks for the clarification. Perhaps this is also a reason they have so many restrictions and rules on ECF about this kind of thing. The sheer number of suppliers and vendors must lead to a lot of 'whoring' - I can see how that would piss people off.

If anybody wants to answer those questions, I'd still appreciate it. But I guess I'll understand if you don't.

Happy vaping.
