I figured I'd ask this here since 2p2 is as active a forum as anywhere. If anybody has advice as to where else to ask this (other forums) please don't hesitate to send me there!

I want to have DVD copies of every televised SDSU basketball game in the upcoming 2010/11 season. I know I could just buy a DVD recorder and get by, but is this the best way to do this? Should I record them using my DVR and then transfer them to DVD this way? Also, what about games in HD?

Any advice will be much appreciated!

It's my alma mater and I am a huge basketball fan. This season could be (should be) their best ever and I would enjoy having it. It's a little bit much, I'm aware.

You could probably just hook your computer up to your TV and record it. Then burn it onto a DVD

This guy does some of the best looking sports caps I've seen and his guide is pretty detailed.

That's exactly what I do when I want to record a program onto a DVD. It's not in HD, but the quality is adequate. If you want HD, I suspect you'd need a Blu-ray burner on your PC, but don't know how that works.
