.i'd be worried about the quality of the blades since they probably have to make them pretty cheap to have good profit margins ,

So they give you the handle for free and 4 Mach 3 style cartridge per month for $6? That's crazy. I just spent like $30 on 4 Fusion cartridges last week.

The big difference is that I use blades WAY too long. I'll use a Fusion cartridge for 20-25 shaves. I pretty much wait until all the gel is gone on the cartridge or it hurts more than normal.

The handle is cheap, I've received about 3 or 4 of them in the mail over the years. The real scam is the price of blades, it wouldn't surprise me if the actual cost to produce them was around 30 cents.

edit: I mean *cheap to produce, the quality is fine. Giving away the handle is just to get people hooked on purchasing blade refills every month.

I haven't purchased one in about 10-15 years because every couple years some relative always ends up buying me one at Christmas.

You're not going to slit your throat. Worst case you nick your skin, but if you shave with proper technique it's a non-issue.

It takes about two weeks to get the hang of it and it is a much better shave. It does add a little to your time but that is really the only negative and well worth it for a closer shave.

Also WTF with the number of shaves people get out of a cartridge. Shaving with a dull cartridge is horrible.
