I'm only saying that because I had the perfect example last night of what freezing meats does to the quality of them. I cooked up some frozen hamburger, which I'm going to go out on a limb here and probably sound a little insane but it's probably one of the lower quality meats out there. It was ****ing horrible. A mcdonalds burger with nothing on it tasted better. Maybe it's just me, but freezing = losing a ton of natural flavor

With all sympathies and best wishes for a speedy recovery, not enjoying a meal while in 'methadone hell' hardly qualifies as conclusive evidence of anything!

There are thousands of places in the US you can live very well on $65k, everyone knows that. It's a matter of being able to find a job in your field, over time, there.

How urgent it is to move out should depend on the relationship you have with your parents, how often they're around and how much physical space / privacy you have.

you guys need to quantify what you are talking about irt "high quality" meat. 90% of the meat you buy is the same, if you shop at a normal grocery store, unless you specifically go out of your way to buy a special peice of beef, it is all the same (pretty much).

and to teh guy who froze hamburger and it sucked, Im betting it was frozen once already at some point, and just wasnt defrosted/cooked right
