With all sympathies and best wishes for a speedy recovery, not enjoying a meal while in 'methadone hell' hardly qualifies as conclusive evidence of anything!

There are thousands of places in the US you can live very well on $65k, everyone knows that. It's a matter of being able to find a job in your field, over time, there.

Good luck with that.

Pretty obvious that you have no concept of what high quality meat costs from this post. I know you were simply trying to illustrate a point about expensive meat but its pretty loltacular how naive you are.

We've had this discussion before and your comments were as naive then as they are now.

The last time someone started this thread in OOT the OP wouldn't even tell all the lurid/racist things that went out. So it basically sucked.

You're so ****ing naive, SC. He's seen meat you people wouldn't believe.

I'd happily add some although I worked with them for roughly 10 weeks, part-time, when I was 18 during my freshman year in college

How urgent it is to move out should depend on the relationship you have with your parents, how often they're around and how much physical space / privacy you have.

those factors vary greatly from person to person.

Re: Does earning $65k per year mean you're poor?

irt meat discussion:

you guys need to quantify what you are talking about irt "high quality" meat. 90% of the meat you buy is the same, if you shop at a normal grocery store, unless you specifically go out of your way to buy a special peice of beef, it is all the same (pretty much).

and to teh guy who froze hamburger and it sucked, Im betting it was frozen once already at some point, and just wasnt defrosted/cooked right

Haven't read the past 600 posts but stop wasting $30/month on vitamins. You're not rich enough to afford the placebo effect.
