Do you think Tiger would leave a note? If he knew it was a female's car, would he leave his cell number?

Sorry about the dent in your car. If you'd like to discuss the matter further please meet me at IHOP at 7pm.

I remember playing golf one time with my dad when I was a teenager. I hit a horrible tee shot that smashed the windshield of one of the cars in the parking lot (this was the parking lot of the golf course itself).

I wasn't sure what to do for a moment, but my dad acted like it was a given that we were going to leave a note and pay for the damage. I don't think he even noticed my frozen state because not only was it a given in his mind, he thought it would be a given in my mind. The car belonged to a high school student. His dad called us later and was really thankful. My dad paid for a new windshield, and that was the end of it.

I'd probably leave a note if something like that happened again because I feel it's the right thing to do. I don't think it is mandatory in every situation (although I myself would err on the side of leaving a note); depends on the specifics.
