I see what you mean, but I'll take the under on Super Bowl activity. There's a significant swath of the country that DGAF about the Super Bowl (a swath that has little representation on 2+2), whereas thanksgiving is a lot closer to universal. Also it's very rare to travel for SB parties, so there's that.
Personally, I don't know anyone having a super bowl party, but all my friends are liberal coastal elites, so I recognize its definitely not a representative sample.
