I guess if everyone is going to be gluttonous, but I think a family of 4 could survive 30 days on mac & cheese, pasta, tuna, and other canned goods. We aren't talking gourmet food here, we are talking about saving humanity.

This is the beginning of armageddon and Bruce Willis isn't going to save us this time.

Yup and in that 48 hrs I'm sure everyone will be polite, orderly and rational. Taking only what they need in the essentials.

In my country it's underlined how well everyone with the disease are. Usually I trust the authorities but not entirely sure now...

Not dying or in intensive care, ok, but well...?? Maybe the policy of avoiding panicking has taken a step too far...who are they fooling?

It's roughly 10-20x deadlier than the flu across all age groups except children under 15 years old. It is also more contagious than the flu. It's a problem and needs to be taken seriously instead of people spouting nonsense like, "it's just the flu" or "the flu is worse".

Currently odds about 25% that it gets cancelled, some believe much better chance. Even if it goes you are likely still screwed. Also big thread in NVG about it if you didn't know.

That and "Wash your hands and be careful out there, espeically if you're at risk or live with someone who is."

Just that might save 100k or more lives in the long run.
