Those are stats you'd laugh at if they were put out by a 3rd world dictatorship, I'd have thought the U.S citizenry would hold it's government to a higher standard than this regardless of their perception of the president. By putting out those stats they're basically admitting they're letting a high number of carriers go about their business unchecked and are allowing the widespread transmission of this thing.
Well like 40% of people have no symptoms and they're probably the ones making everyone else sick. Not really sure what's to be done other than confining everyone to their homes.

Every time I've been to Walmart, each register had 1,000 people in line. I think that the odds you catching this virus will, ironically, be nearly guaranteed as you shop for supplies.
Dead people can't eat, so if your doing this, at least leave your doors unlocked so starving people can get the food you aren't using.
Yeah, talking with my pharmacy bros is pretty funny. All day every day there's people looking for surgical masks, then arguing with the staff when they say they don't have any. It's like "Let's all meet up at the place where tons of other people are, many of whom are sick."
I'm back to work tonight and have been told that we have a shortage of surgical gowns. Idk, maybe they're made in China. We aren't rationing yet but students and other learners are not going to be allowed to gown up and learn until further notice.
