Assuming you are responding to me, I just googled him and it's possible I have seen him in something without realizing it was him, such as the episode of silicon valley he was in, but I had never heard of his podcast before, nor has he ever come up in a discussion I have had with anyone.

Yeah I've never watched any of that crap, no offense intended towards anyone who thinks that stuff is not crap. I'm a bit of a pop-culture outlier and my friends think it is strange the number of actors/actresses I have not heard of before, but at the same time I have a hard time believing he is the second most influential person and/or male in the country when I had never even heard of him before.

Do you listen to any podcasts?

Actually no, other than a few of the poker podcasts that were linked in the Las Vegas Lifestyle forum. Maybe that is what makes me weird?

Podcasts have never given me much interest, I don't have a work commute so I don't have a bunch of time to fill, and when I'm at home I've always felt everything else I'm doing is more interesting than listening to a podcast as most seem too slow-paced for me. I actually prefer reading blogs/articles/forums over listening to a podcast as I think those methods are more efficient.

EDIT: Also sorry if this was a derail, I'm done here as I feel if I keep commenting it would be a derail (but obviously others can keep commenting they want)

Talked with my cousin who is a teacher in Iowa. This is what they're going to do for school:

-Grades 9-12 will be 100% distance learning with recorded online modules
-They will move younger kids into the high school to spread everyone out
-All classes will be split into 2 rooms. Like if a teacher has 28 students, 14 will be in room A and 14 will be in room B. The teacher will teach a lesson to the students in room A, leave them to work quietly, then go teach the lesson to room B, repeat
-No recess. Lunch will be eaten at desk with the students from your room. Goal is no intermingling between students other than roommates.
-School starts August 17th.

My girlfriend is an elementary school administrator in PA. Brand new school meets the student per sq ft criteria so no changes are planned while the state is in the green phase, but she ordered round tables in the cafeteria so the students will eat in their classrooms. The schools with long lunch tables will be able to eat lunch with all students at one side of the table.

The thinking for the high school is that they will alternate weeks when students learn from home and when they come into the school.

I know the name and just looked him up - couldn’t have picked him out of a crowd of two. Have never heard his podcast. Anyone who says masks are for pussies to an audience of millions is flat out killing people.
