i made some popcorn chicken:
3hrs in butter milk
drain

half AP flour half corn

big spice mix

egg whites

panko

It was very crispy but the tastes gets diluted. Im not very familiar with fried chicken.

Better to put spices in panko or after the frying or both?

im guessing spices in the flour is garbage, i've done it a few times and i cant ever taste it.

I don't get it. Looks like a standard trailer outside of a bar.

It's apparently one of the best trucks in town, which is saying something in Austin.

Austin is such a freaking great town.

Fair enough, but you may be a little too susceptible to facebook marketing. I'm almost certain I've had it in the bar area where it is usually parked according to FB, and I'm sure it was good, but never made a note of it as something extra special.

Just like every city it is getting more expensive than ever, we're just doing it faster. Musk moving his global hq gigafactory or whatever to town was the final nail in the coffin.

Yeah real estate is especially off the chain. Austin suburbs used to be super affordable…I love Round Rock and the minor league ballpark there for example (elite concessions too!)

Other towns like Boise and Salt Lake blew up once COVID/remote work really became a thing.

Show us the way SerO, every time I've tried they come out either soggy or burnt but never crispy

Philly Cheese steak Cheeseburger on an everything brioche bun. Cheese Whiz, onion, & provolone.

I'm going to have to make another shortly. Intense levels of flavor were unlocked.

High Grade marijuana has me cranking out the flavor today. I had some leftover chicken breast, so I made a homemade chicken pot pie filling. I baked a potato and scooped out the insides to add to the mixture. Loaded it back into the potato with a 3 cheese blend and yes. This might be a regular thing for me.
