Looks great. I have that Chili Crunch, but have yet to open it. Also saw recently it is almost expired, but LOL at expiring chili crunch.

How can you not have opened it? It's crack (maybe that's why).

I just bought these (link below to two 24 oz bottles), and the sell by date is next December. They will never last that long, but I'd open them a year after the sell by date and probably not be worried The only "expiration" date is on baby food. Everything else is fair game. If it looks, smells, and tastes OK, I'm eating it!

Put some on plain pasta yesterday, and it was amazing.

Yeh that chilli stuff definitely looks like something that, once opened, is going on everything, and probably for a few months, until I get sick of it and never want to touch it again.

What are some things to put it on, besides everything?

Breakfast - Eggs/Toasts
Lunch - Sandwich/Salads
Dinner - Anything

But I've a messed up addictive brain, so nothing can hide - I'm looking at you cereal, and desserts!

I just walked into the kitchen and had to stop myself from eating a spoonful, and I do not have an addictive brain

I have a 5 lb pack of pork jowels I need to use, any ideas what to do with them besides bacon or Guanciale?

There's a spanish braised dish that is tasty, something with a "c".

edit: carrilladas. It's obviously flexible, but something like this.

Saw this at Trader Joe's yesterday and had to buy with all the talk here. Hoo doggy, I was eating spoons of this with late night edible munchies and it was en FUEGO. But not in a lingering, shitty way. It was like BAM, and then soon gone. Highly recommend if you like spicy.

Thank you, I've prepped and cooked thousands of lbs of pork cheek and they are far more meaty than what I have. Mine is the fatty jowl and looks something like this:

The pork cheeks after I trim the silver skin off look like this:

which I braise and reduce the braising liquid with some butter and place over celery root puree for a tasty meal:

Yim, why not throw some salt on there and smoke it to make guanciale?

I did that with the last batch and was hoping to try something new but it appears bacon and guanciale may be the best options

You could render them in to lard/cracklings, or make any other kind of food you would use belly for. Char siu or some kind of hoisin braise on steam bun, maybe?

I don't go down the super healthy route like you but my favorite is frozen pieces of banana and a coconut (meat + juice) and if I feel like it maybe a square of dark chocolate.
It's like a frothy milk shake.

The idea is to make a milk shake that tastes like milk shake with veggies that are imperceptible to the taste buds because they've been utterly pulverized.

My go to morning smoothie is spinach, kefir, chocolate or vanilla protein powder, liquid egg whites and some kind of frozen fruit (usually berries). It tastes pretty good and I get a huge serving of spinach out of it as well (usually add 100 grams). The only problem I have is you get a ton of foam on top of the smoothie layer that makes it annoying to drink

I usually do banana, frozen berries, spinach, Greek yogurt, apple juice

I don't really mind the foam. I find they just kind of go away if I shake and wait a bit.
