Not really those kind. I want to pickle whole normal size white onions but Google hasn't been very helpful.

These are the ones that they carry around here.

Always got a, jar of shaved carrot and daikon pickle in my fridge. Also helps to kick sandwiches, burgers, dogs or whatever up a notch

Villain: Very easy. Just google "pickled whole onions" or "pickled pearl onions" and read a couple recipes. Basically you're just gonna stick some onions in some vinegar, sugar, and spices. I love pickled onions too.

one dollar: Do it! https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/s...postcount=8558 Happy to answer any questions. 100% worth it.

I'll give it a try. Was thinking I'd substitute the lamb with ground beef and omit the gizzards. Thoughts?

Dollar,

Chicken livers, not gizzards. Definitely optional. Maybe adds a tiny bit of body/earthiness/depth to the sauce, but it’s a small element that is fine to skip if you want.

I’ve done this twice. One time I did pork/veal/beef, and another time did pork/lamb/beef. You can do whatever you prefer with the ground meat and it’ll be great.

Havent tried it but I stumbled across this video and this **** looks damn good:

thought you might want to incorporate (aside from cooking in a fire) some of the ideas like using celery root instead of celery, damn the ingredients look amazing in this video

I'd send it for you, but when I sent peanut butter and jelly to Norway or something for the OOT International Snack Exchange it cost me like 40 bucks.

I can also still taste the black licorice monkey things and tube of squeezable fish-mush he sent me to this day.

"Retail"

Quick skim of reviews makes it sound like this thing is always "on sale". Many of the reviews also have a weird, astro-turfy tone. None of the company's other knives are very expensive, and they also sell things life selfy-sticks and phone cases. My inner skeptic says it's a $20 knife.

Lol first 4 reviews all 1 star and include pics of that knife snapped in half

900+ reviews and 4.5 stars is a good enough knife for me for $19.

Ha I know, just thought it was funny.

Full disclosure:
At first I was pretty annoyed to see that sale because I *just* bought one of these guys

for the exact same price on Amazon, and the knife you posted seemed like a way better deal. So seeing all those broken knife pics made me feel smugly warm and fuzzy inside.

I've just fallen down the rabbit hole of mediocre Chinese knives for sale on Amazon, and I am fascinated. The important details seem to be German steel, bold claims of sharpness, and a product photograph at ~45 degrees with some sort of produce in the lower right corner.

Yeah international postage can be pretty outrageous. It was more a general annoyance in how screwed over we are here.

Those snacks sound amazing lol. I think I would probably send kangaroo jerky and fisherman friends. Vegemite is the obvious choice but probably a little boring. I don't even know if fisherman friends are distinctive to Australia but just have a memory of being hungry on a car trip and my dad offering me one as a kid. Sick bastid lol.
