This one makes me laugh to myself because I imagine they didn't tell the actors they were driving Camry's until they got to the set and then when they got mad the producers threatened to leave them stranded in Monte Carlo if they didn't do a good job acting like they enjoyed themselves in the commercial. :trollgiggle:

At the end, on the normal commercial not in this example... the sound of the fire alarm at the last part where it is showing the device gets louder. It's been on every commercial break for the NHL game on NBC Sports tonight.

Just saw one of those ****ty Chevy focus group commercials in which they basically called the featured vehicle (a hatchback) the mullet of cars. Probably not a very effective selling point.

Still seeing a lot of GE commercials, but haven't seen the ones with "Ricky" lately. Wonder if they were pulled amid public criticism.

Wow, I had never seen any of those commercials before and I can't imagine how they were ever aired. IMO, they were very deserving of public criticism. Wouldn't tilt me though. I just think I'd probably buy Pratt & Whitney or Rolls Royce jet engines instead of GE after seeing this ad. That is, of course, if I was in the market for jet engines.

I want to murder both males in this commercial and i'm not sure why. Tilts me to no end how they TWICE show the ginger dude just lazily, happily staring into space. Why do they do that?!? When it came to editing were they like "One cutaway to this guy daydreaming isn't enough, we need two"?

The fact that they're traveling in a train annoys me mildly as well.

I'm was much more offended that the supposedly smart girl that builds jet engines is tightening bolts on the frame around the engine that is used to attach the engine to the airplane.

Her work is literally attaching bolts to a part of the engine frame that will have to be removed later when the engine is installed. She's creating extra work for people that know how to build engines.

So in your opinion that guy was just a person of typical intelligence who was goofing on his sister? That seems like a remarkable take on it to me. I thought it was very obvious that he was developmentally challenged or, as we used to say when I was a kid, ******ed.
