I've gotten into a few arguments with people about a few people who I think are closet homosexuals in Hollywood.

The first one that comes to mind is Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Pros and cons to him being gay

Pros:
Good actor
Played a few gay roles
Rarely seen in public with girlfriend
Enjoys sucking dick

Cons:
Claims to have a girlfriend

So OOT, is Hoffman gay, and who else do you think is a closet homosexual in Hollywood?

I'm just wondering if you could expand on how the first bolded claim is a "pro" for gayness, and where you got the second bolded claim from.

Cruise seems like he would be bi given that despite all the rumors..even when he was a nobody/young actor he was scoring plenty of trim

to be honest this isn't really a topic with people i know. we're usually more into where has Lindsay Lohan/other random tramps been hanging out in the hopes that we can go there and she'll stumble past us, take us into a stairwell, **** us then continue on her way.

I listened to a "City Arts & Lecture" broadcast with PSH one or two years ago. I remember thinking he boorishly represented himself as a pussy hound more than once. I concluded that either 1) he was tired of dealing with people who assumed he was gay and trying to get the word out, or 2) he was gay and concerned that this could torpedo his career. Anyway, I realize this is the OP question: is he in the closet. My impression was that his performance in the interview was so ham-handed and seemed so out of character that it actually made 1) more likely than 2). I could be wrong, but if he's in the closet he can stay there for all I care.
