I currently have a 27' TV that is probably 6 years old. Its those big tvs. My neighbor got a very expensive TV that cost him $1000 or so when he saw it online that was on sale. Its a Samsung LED 40' and looks very good. He bought it mainly to play XBOX and PS3 games and blueray movies. Also of course to watch TV but its mostly for video games
I watched an nba game last time on his tv during the nba finals and wow it was amazing with the hdtv. My TV looks really bad. I want to buy a tv but just a 32' television and not a 40'. Can someone recommend me a specific tv? I checked amazon and see there are tons of choices.
The thing about me is that i will use the TV to watch NFL games and that is pretty much it. I do not play video games whatsoever and do not watch movies though i might do that in the future. I basically will only be watching TV in the football season and once football season is over, only thing i watch is probably the news
Would this television be good? Its $499 and free shipping. That is a great price for a 32' tv right? Samsung should be the preferred brand? I heard Sharp had problems and so did LG. I thought this one was good because it has 1080P which is greater than 720P. I see there a tons of models of samsung 32' tvs.

Would this television be good enough to watch NFL games in HD on CBS and Fox similar to the one my neighbor has? I also want to mention i only have basic cable and do not have regular cable and cut it off 2 years ago because i almost never watch TV unless its NFL season on sundays.
I don't want to spent $1000 on the tv my neighbor bought and want to spend less.
Thoughts?
