Poetry got me my first girl, but now I gotta help my 16 year old cousin out. He told me a few days that there is a girl that he likes and he wanted to use poetry to "woo" her. He e-mailed me a long list of things that I can include, and I came up with this...
Your smile is glowing, I call it blinding
My lights are fading so please keep smiling
When your image is gone, my mind keeps rewinding
I'm afraid of the dark and I need you shining
Your not an obsession, more of a necessity
Would of spoke sooner but feared you'd be rejecting me
Time has passed, remember in Elementary
I gave you my snack the first time you sat next to me
I see you in class, brown hair with hazel eyes
Dressed in anything your an angel from the sky
Before approaching you, I read a behavioral guide
Lets make sparks fly before the month of April dies
Poetry is something, but I don't do it often
My mind is elsewhere and I think I've lost it
Waiting for a reply, so for you I paused it
Hopefully you've read up to here and not yet tossed this
Now the deal is, if this works and he gets something positive out of it, he forks up $50. You think it will work? Has poetry ever helped you get a girl?
