I felt that the ending montage to Crash was gripping.

Rocky IV obv. But as a serious response, I thought the starting montage in Up was fantastic.

In anything if you want to go from a beginner to a pro you need a montage.
Show a lot of things happening at once remind everyone of whats going on
With every shot show a little improvement to show it didnt take that long.

The "montage" in Oldboy where one half of the screen is news reports of important world events and the other half is him tunneling from his room was a really effective way to show the passage of time imo.

You kids all like Rocky IV so much...ugh. The series started to get cornball in Rocky III, but it was still awesome because of Mr. T. But, Rocky IV was when it turned totally lame.

Rocky I was great with the running up the steps and all the kids following him, but that wasn't a montage.

Worst montage ever is in Casablanca. The movie is pretty perfect except for that Paris montage when Humphrey Bogart strains to pretend he's happy.

the alcohol, drugs, blood sucking leeches, women montage in He Got Game is fun.

Rules of Attraction's isn't the best but it is pretty good. Whole movie is underrated.

Spike Lee is pretty good at these.

I haven't clicked on it, because I think it's got that unbelievably awful song in it called like Take it to the Limit or something that is typical of DePalma.

If it's that one, the one where they show them going into the bank with duffel bags of money and Tony with a big cigar showing off his tiger, I think you're playing fast and loose with the word "best."

Yeah, the Scarface montage is pretty unwatchable. Mainly the music is horrible, but it's even bad besides that.

The opening montage to Watchmen was incredible. The rest of the movie, not so much.
