The only candy I recall which slightly resembles a chalkiness were those fake cigarette candies. I'm not even sure they still make those as it has been at least 15-20 years since I last had one.

yeah candy cigs are chalky. i also remember necco wafers being super chalky like eating tums or something. gross

finally found these today....holy ****!!! ****ing delicious!! They might even be better than the milk chocolate ones.

I also got a bag of the new jolly rancher, hard outside, chewy inside, and I like them. Its nice cuz I always just chew they hard candy ones anyway, so this way I still get that hard card part, but also a chewy part.

I got a 4lb jug of Jelly Belly's from Costco with 49 different flavors.

I haven't decided how to proceed entirely. So far, it has been either grab a handful, remove the blacks ldo, and then hope for the best, or, pick out individual flavors.

I haven't tried to dig through for specific flavors to combine and make a recipe, but may try my luck there soon.

Pretty evil to have so many nice reds in there only to know sooner or later you are going to get a cinnamon to ruin your grab though.
