Yes, my brain is tricked into believing things that aren't true. I lose touch with reality. Please ask more specific questions.

Yes, they are getting worse. They are getting more complex. 3 or more story lines are now going on in my head and I have to deal with them all.

I was given LSD when I was 18, twice. I didn't know what it was I was taking. The illness is MUCH stronger than the trips I had from the LSD, however I do think the LSD opened my mind to having psychoses.

Yes, I do think I have more awareness than others. I do think I have seen and experienced more than the normal person has. However, when I get manic it gets out of control and I get deluded very easily.

I'm 30, first psychosis when I was 18. I'm not sure how I'm going to survive...I have delusions everyday and I experience extreme psychosis every 3 to 4 years. Do I think I should survive? Yes - I feel there is a reason for all of this. I am not dangerous. I have a huge level of empathy and I help people when I'm in the hospitals. I don't judge anyone and I think I'm going thru this for a reason. I never want to hurt anyone.

I make $120 a week, delivering papers once a week. I was without my meds for an entire week last month and I was fine - i.e., not having my meds doesn't cause me to go manic. I'm 30 now, 18 when I had my first psychosis.
