are you glad that you got shot?

what i mean is....if you could somehow change history and not get shot, would you do it?

what has being shot given you other than a ridiculous story?

I'm not glad I got shot. I was selling a lot of cleaner working in San Francisco, making good money and having the time of my life, that this interrupted everything. After 2.5 weeks in the hospital, I had to go back to Missouri and live with my parents for a month while my wound filled in. That was nasty stuff; there was a freaking bloody hole in my chest relatively deep that had to be packed with gauze everyday to soak up the ****.

No, I'im not glad I got shot, not even close.

No. He's in the crime game, and he was surprisingly bold in purpose and execution. But I wouldn't want to socialize with him. I hope he did other illegal things and got thrown in prison.

No, they were a nice middle-aged Asian couple. They visited me in the hospital, and they even paid for their case of cleaner.

There wasn't an overwhelming sense of pain right after I got shot. It was more surreal, like I'd been launched into another world. It was a feeling of overwhelming crisis, and feeling very weak from losing so much blood.

I could kinda guess what its like to get slugged by a sledgehammer. I have absolutely NO idea what it feels like to get shot. He could get more graphic and descriptive too.

I'm honestly not sure about that.

A lot of the salesmen I worked with were very surprised that I'd been shot by a white dude. They all asked my parents about the ethnicity, and this scandalized my liberal school-teacher parents to no end.

It's a little red circle, slightly bigger than a quarter, slightly concave. Pics I don't know from here on the internet.

No light, but a dreamlike sense of struggle I do remember. My cousin Colleen the RN who came up from Orange County says I pulled out my breathing tubes, which she said was relatively rare.

Do I carry a gun? I live in Texas!

(just a little Texan chauvinist humor. Like I said, I don't know from guns.)

You know, I can remember the first shower I took, but I have no memory at all of any sponge-bathing.

There were 2 girls I really liked though. One forced tubes through my nose down into my chest for some reason. She was either a doctor or nurse, red-haired and feisty. Another one was a medical student dark-haired Latina type who just asked me real general questions with a clipboard and flirted a little.
