I'm not sure about the pressure cooker part of the Ninja Foodi, but my mother-in-law has a microwave/ convection oven combo.

My wife uses the instant pot maybe once a month for a roast. Just based on size I banished the pot to the basement when it’s not in use. I don’t mind keeping all the small stuff in the kitchen even if we barely use it but the instant pot is just a huge waste of space.

It’s already kinda annoying to have that huge Ninja Foodi and a microwave of the same size. In a perfect world we would have those two combined and also at least dual-zoned. Not even sure if that exists on the market right now though.
I'm lucky to have space in the kitchen cabinets for most of what I have, but a double oil fryer takes up a lot of the space. I should move that downstairs where I store the 8 qt IP and Ninja because I use it the least by far. (I do not have a huge kitchen, but big enough.)

For above poster, the pressure cooker on Ninja is basically an IP, but the Ninja can air fry, broil, etc., too.

Wow, the Ninja Foodi uses proprietary technology to lock in the juices?!

You son of a *****, I'm in!

My parents have one of those too. Unfortunately, stuff like french fries aren't nearly as good as the ones out of the Ninja Air Fryer. It's also just one temperature zone, same as our Ninja Foodi. With a second zone we wouldn't have to use both the Foodi and Air Fryer if we want to make chicken and fries at the same time.

I got the instapot/air fryer combo that basically if you lived in an apartment or something small you could literally cook any method other than grill. It’s a regular instapot but has an air fryer lid as well pretty sweet.

You can pressure cook, roast, bake, sous vide, dehydrate, boil, sauté, air fry and I think a few other options. It’s as versatile as possible imo

reheating pizza in the air fryer for 325 for 5 minutes comes out so great

This all sounds so shilly, which, combined with the nonsensical/scammy marketing language like "Tendercrisp technology locks in juices," really turns me off these products on general principle. I know this is like thinking Bitcoin is a bad investment because Michael Saylor tweets 10 stupid things before breakfast every day... ah well.

Does this actually cook things sous vide like you can with an immersion circulator in a water bath, or is it just an approximation? I.e. does it control temp to 0.1 degrees and circulate the liquid in the bath?

Are people really using the air fryer "4rollz"? As someone who has never used one, I don't see how this could work.

Are we turning dough into donuts in this bad boy?

They do work for pizza rolls coincidentally

I had an Annova and I gave it away after getting this. It doesn’t circulate the water but I have tested the temp with my thermapen multiple times and it’s within a degree so good enough for me. I’m not saying it’s the end all be all but it’s a pretty great tool especially if you had limited space. I have plenty of room at my house but if I was in a small apartment, dorm, etc this would be an elite device for someone with the diversity.

Glad others are calling it a convection oven. I desperately want the precision oven though.

English muffins and toast. Frozen fries and onion rings. The occasional turkey or roast beef sandwich. No dishwasher, so I try to keep it from getting messy/gooey.
