If you had at least just said "maybe you have a middle eastern/north-african/persian... heritage or culture" wouldn't be as bad as just lumping everything under the label "muslim culture" which to me has no meaning and pretty narrow minded and misinformed. islam is a religion, not a culture, religion can influence culture, not define it, and that's not even what's most annoying part. Going, "you are sexually insecure, you have a violent past, you ignore women's advice, you must be have a muslim culture" is what blew my mind.

a hooker is not likely to help. youre scared of failing. understandable. but as out of control as this situation is, it is likely to get worse and cause you more anxiety. just find someone you like, who doesnt intimidate you. take your time. have some fun/foreplay. eventually the axiety will subside and i think youll find that its not that big of a deal.

I want to say thank you all for the support, advice, openmindedness and friendliness in this thread.

I'm not sure if what I did was the best decision, but in my view it's better than keep on doing what I've always doing and getting in the same situation time and time again. I would say I am much more proud than ashamed.

I still think I'll be somewhat nervous when I'm encountering someone I'm really interested in but all in all a good experience. The girl was very cool about everything about me - and after this, any of my horror-scenarios seem very unlikely to happen. She wasn't a full time pro btw and she wanted to see me again, even suggested we went on a sex trip together however I don't think that's a great idea.
