Hey Bob, are you ever going to follow up on this? Or update the scores?

No takers on the late Hernandez.

Didn't know who that guy was, but checked his wiki page out a few days ago. Bad timing I guess!

Louis Cyphre, 67
econophile, 58
SuperUberBob, 50

Pirsig happened right after I posted this.

Worth 22 (+15 solo pick) = 37.
So I have ham on rye now at 197, not 160.

Nice pick, HOR.

(Edit: Same disclaimers as above.)

I didn't even know about this til I randomly popped into the thread to yell at Bob. Thanks

Pirsig was on so many lists for years and years with very little news, I almost didn't take him this year.

Can't predict who's gonna' die next (Gregg Allman? Certainly Keith Richards seems overdue, though he'll probably outlive us all), but I can say w/ absolute certainty that no one will die a more poetic, beautiful death than Col Bruce Hampton, who collapsed center stage during the encore at his 70th birthday celebration:

"Jam scene patriarch Col. Bruce Hampton died on stage during the final moments of a benefit concert honoring his 70th birthday at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on Monday night. Hampton passed out with nearly the entire all-star lineup for Hampton 70: A Celebration Of Col. Bruce Hampton surrounding him as the “Turn On Your Lovelight” finale was nearing a conclusion."
