The $30/month plan is:

100 min talk (10c/min after)
unlimited texting
5GB data (then throttled after that)

And no taxes or fees (well, built in taxes and fees)

Also, any poker game apps for Android? Like to kill the time when I'm totally cold at a live table? Play money just fine.

Seriously, sorry if there's a better thread in the poker forums for this. I searched, I swear.
I use poker history+ after testing most of the more popular apps. I like the holo design and clean look and don't need any additional features.

The Kroger company (Ralphs in Southern California) has a digital coupon on $50 airtime cards. If you buy 2, you save $12. You can buy up to ten airtime cards for a total savings of $60.

It's a digital coupon that needs activated on your stores website. You then buy the cards at your local store.

T-mobile airtime cards rarely go on sale anywhere. So a 12% discount is a pretty special opportunity. I'm buying a year+ worth. (8 to 10 cards)
My Ralph's had 9 $50 T-mobile airtime cards. They now have one.

nah dawg it's all in the cables. The factory Samsung cable is a beast charger, some I have are terrible and I instantly trash them others are great but I don't know if they're doing their best.

There's even a guide on how to short out the pins in a cable to turn it from a "data" cable into a charging cable. F all that though.

It already does this in some capacity. I'm not 100% sure of the logic, but it's something like if you have a gmail tab open in an active browser window, then your phone won't vibrate. The gmail tab itself doesn't have to be active, just the browser.

But if the browser is not active, like it's behind another window that you're working on, then your phone will vibrate.

Something like that, anyway. I found it works pretty well for me because I have multiple monitors so the browser window is usually at the front. If you only have one screen I could see it being a little more annoying.

Yea I guess it sounds like it SHOULD be working the way I would want. But it's not for me. Or maybe I'm just confusing the times when the browser is not active. I'll keep an eye out for If this is actually the case. Thanks for that info.

Of course after making that post, Hangouts is now vibrating my phone even when the browser window is open. But I remember my friend and I testing this behavior out a while ago and being more or less satisfied with the default logic, and this morning it seemed to be working as stated.

So, uhh, I dunno?

Ok yea... confirmed. My phone vibrates even when I have the tab on the computer in focus with the cursor blinking INSIDE the chat box, lol. Very tilting.

ETA: I also use light flow - dunno if that's causing any interference maybe. Although I feel like it did this before I started using that too.

This is crazy, I'm currently sitting on a Nexus 5 battery at 72% and I completed charging 18 hours ago. My usage hasn't been very heavy, but this is by far the best performance I have seen from a mobile battery ever.

I'm eligible for an upgrade thru Verizon. Should I get the S4 or is something new coming out in the next month or two?

s5 is supposed to be out in march, thats why i just got a dirt cheap s4 out of contract

Which leaves me with a bunch of questions having come from an iphone, here are my most pressing/annoying

1) Is there a way to stop Hangouts from pinging my phone when I'm using it on my laptop at work? It's annoying to get chats both places

2) Is there a way to have all my emails in one place? Right now I have my work email and my Yahoo in the email app, but Gmail can only be in the gmail app? That's ****ing dumb.

3) As best I can tell, email isn't fetching by push, only by a 15 minute refresh? Why?

4) Any clue why, when I'm on my company wifi at work, I can receive yahoo emails but can't send them? I can send & receive through work account fine. This didn't happen w/ my iphone.

Getting CloudMagic will solve several of those issues. It handles multiple accounts from multiple sources including yahoo, gmail and whatever your work is using.

Gmail shouldn't be refreshing at 15 minute intervals, whether other email is, is down to that apps' settings.

can cloudmagic get domain emails? I wanted to setup my domain email on google but they stopped offering it for free. Now im using redirects which is quite lame

Does it use IMAP? If so, then yeah it should work.

Im not really up on how domain emails are handed, but when you try to add an account this is the first options page:

I just use it for a couple of GMails and my uni mail which is set up as Exchange iirc.

In the Amazon app store, The app eWallet is FREE for today!!! This password/credit card manager is normally $10.

It can stand alone or interfaces directly with the PC version.

I need some help from anyone who uses Straigh Talk. My verizon contract was up in January and i've been going back and forth with just renewing with Verizon and getting an S4 or jumping over to straight talk. What worries me are the endless threads online where ST customers can't send or recieve MMS messages. Does anyone who uses ST have that problem? I've seen a lot of threads specifically talking about the no MMS issue with an N5, which is what my wife and I would be getting.

Thoughts? I'd really like to save ~$70/mo, but we send and receive picture messages regularly and don't want to be hassled with that.

Looking for a sports scores app.

ESPN Scorecenter takes a year to load, and the recap/highlight videos are garbage. They seriously can't be more than 240p.

Yahoo is nice but has no video. Any other options?

I use the score app. It's infinitely faster. The only gripe I've got with it is it doesn't show what TV station that is broadcasting the games on the scoreboard, you have to click a game to see who's broadcasting the game.
