I am not familiar with their update to Core (Core 2.0), but before they updated it, I think it was the best value for money for a newer player. If you've read a decent amount of good theory books the content might not be worth it. However, the way its structured makes for a logical progression in learning and at the price it is definitely worth a look for a week or two to ensure there are no gaping holes in foundational concepts. I am not familiar with Crash Course. There used to be a syllabus for Core on their site somewhere that outlined what each of the modules included. If its not there, I'm sure you could get it by emailing support.
