Question Concerning the Moshman Book Question Concerning the Moshman Book

Hoping someone can help me out with something in the 1st chapter of the Moshman book.
I've been an MTT player for quite sometime and do ok, thought I'd play more 9 man STT and learn the proper strategy for them.
When Moshman talks about the 3 different stages, early....middle...and late I'm not sure just what blind levels make up the various stages. I know he states that "early" stage is when the blinds are low and usually a couple of the players have been eliminated. But I've played in a few games where no one has been eliminated and we're at the 3rd or forth blind level and for the most part all of the chip stacks are still close in size.
Do you remain at "early" stage thinking or do you move on to "middle" stage?

Thanks everyone

Something approximately like the following

Low Blinds: >20BB Effective Stacks (Close to full table, ~2.5BB standard opening rather than push fold)

Middle: Effective Stacks = 5-15BB (Push fold 5-8 players remaining, push fold or restealing territory, standard raise creates pot commitment issues)

Late: 4 handed to HU

zero

PS. Things are actually more granular than this but this is probably a pretty accurate place to start thinking about the different phases of a 9 man.
