I'm looking for a recommended reading list for live FR NL hold'em cash games.

I'm thinking for my core books:

Harrington on Cash Vol I
Harrington on Cash Vol II
Professional No Limit

To that I'm thinking of adding Small Stakes No Limit.

Is No Limit Hold'em: Theory & Practice even read anymore, or are people skipping that one?

I would add Dynamic Full Ring Poker and all of Ed Miller/Doug Hull to the list as well.

Jonathan Little has a new book on this subject,,it's due for release around June or July.

His other books are really good so I expect this one will be no different.

Since you've been away for a couple of years, you might add Reading Poker Tells by Zachary Elwood to your reading list as it is a more up to date book on the subject of tells.

It will help you in all games.

To help you answer your question, I suggest you compare the playing history of Navarro ("that FBI guy") and Elwood.

Yes, Elwood's book is the new standard for tells books. Major difference is that Elwood has practical tips that you can look for during gameplay whereas Navarro has stuff that are more general in nature which you need to infer for a poker situation.

Elwood's book may very well be good but he was horrible at PLO on the last Live at the Book episode I watched.
